Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the TriScreenapplicant tracking system ("Service") operated by TriScreen("we," "our," or "us"), available at https://triscreen.ai. By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Service Description

TriScreen is a self-hosted applicant tracking system that screens candidates using multiple AI models (Claude, GPT, and Gemini) simultaneously. The Service provides consensus-based candidate scoring, interview evaluation, pipeline management, and hiring team collaboration tools.

2. Account Registration

To use the Service, you must create an account with accurate and complete information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.

3. Subscription and Payments

  • All paid plans include a 14-day free trial with Professional-tier features. No credit card is required for the trial.
  • Subscription fees are billed monthly or annually, depending on your selected plan. All fees are in USD.
  • Payment processing is handled by Stripe. By subscribing, you also agree to Stripe's Terms of Service.
  • You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
  • We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice. Existing subscribers will be notified before any price changes affect their plan.

4. API Keys and Third-Party AI Services

The Service requires you to provide your own API keys for AI providers (Anthropic, OpenAI, Google). You are responsible for:

  • Obtaining and maintaining valid API keys with sufficient usage limits
  • All costs incurred from API usage with those providers
  • Complying with each AI provider's terms of service and acceptable use policies
  • Keeping your API keys secure and not sharing them with unauthorized parties

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service in violation of any applicable laws, including employment discrimination laws
  • Use AI screening results as the sole basis for hiring decisions without human review
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the Service
  • Use the Service to process data of individuals under 18 years of age
  • Resell, sublicense, or redistribute the Service without written authorization
  • Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service

6. Data Ownership

You retain full ownership of all data you input into the Service, including candidate information, job listings, and screening configurations. Since TriScreen is self-hosted, your data resides on your own infrastructure. We do not claim any rights over your data.

7. AI Screening Disclaimer

AI screening results provided by the Service are advisory and should be used as one factor in your hiring process. TriScreen does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or fitness of AI-generated assessments. You are solely responsible for all hiring decisions and compliance with applicable employment laws and regulations.

8. Service Availability

We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access to the Service. We may perform maintenance, updates, or modifications that temporarily affect availability. We will provide reasonable notice for planned maintenance when possible.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, TriScreen shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or business opportunities, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the twelve months preceding the claim.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless TriScreen and its officers, directors, and employees from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Sections regarding data ownership, limitation of liability, and indemnification survive termination.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notification at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation before pursuing formal resolution.
